Week 29 - So they call it a babymoon!
Week 29 :: So they call it a babymoon... :o)
This week's reflections: BBR hit the road this week! Patrick and I ventured down to good ol' Orlando for some fun, sun and most importantly, relaxation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parc Soleil Resort (a new resort we wanted to check out), which is a rock's throw from Disney, so we were able to see the Disney fireworks each night from our room! We spent lots of time relaxing in the pools at the resort, dining and walking around Downtown Disney. (Vacation tip: The AMC theater at Downtown Disney is awesome! Huge venue, multiple concession areas and comfy seats!)
Over the past few months, we were told by many couples to take a "babymoon." Although we didn't specifically book this trip for that reason, we can fully agree that expecting parents should take time away for themselves before the baby arrives! We didn't take a single minute of time for granted during our getaway. The next time we travel to Florida...we'll have a baby with us! :o)
Week: #29
BBR's gender: Unknown until birth :o) (*getting super duper excited!*)
Changes in clothing: No new purchases lately. Still lovin' color and prints for 'da belly! #preggo #ootd #bbr
Any new marks? I'm very thankful that I still haven't seen any signs of stretch marks! Some spider veins have popped up on the back of my legs, but nothing major.
Navel news: Po' lil' navel is so stretched! I wonder how that's gonna bounce back after the baby...
Back attack: More noticeable during longer sitting/standing periods, but nothing extremely painful.
Slumber & sleep: Waking multiple times to adjust my sleeping position, to use the restroom and to simply check on BBR (i.e. feel for heartbeat, movements, etc.) :o)
Fuel for Mommy & BBR: Pretty much the same - fruit! Favorites as usual: watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, kiwi, apples, etc! :o) Water is the preferred beverage of choice and surprisingly, with ice! I'm a "no ice" kinda gal!
Next visit to the OB: Every two weeks now, so our next appointment will be on Monday, June 30th. :o)
